The Nigerian Institute of Architects Abuja Chapter (NIAABC) and West African Ceramics Ltd (WACL) have reaffirmed their partnership in driving national progress, particularly within Nigeria’s construction industry. This was highlighted during the 41st Annual General Meeting (AGM) Gala Night of NIAABC, hosted in collaboration with WACL.
The prestigious event brought together architects, construction professionals, and industry stakeholders in an atmosphere of celebration and shared vision. A key highlight of the evening was the official launch of WACL’s new Onyx Natural Marbles, expanding the company’s premium product line.
Speaking at the ceremony, Arc. Yemi Sola-Adebiyi, Chairman of NIA Abuja Chapter, praised the collaboration with WACL, describing it as “not only a strong bond, but one that grows stronger every single day.”
On behalf of WACL, Mr. Franklin Jose, Managing Director, emphasized the company’s alignment with the NIA’s commitment to design excellence and innovation. He also announced the introduction of the ROYAL Tiles Visualizer App—Nigeria’s first digital tool enabling architects to select tile designs or upload spaces to instantly generate design concepts.
Mr. Jose further noted that for over 30 years, WACL has consistently delivered premium building solutions, created thousands of direct and indirect jobs, and supported education and craftsmanship to nurture the next generation of industry leaders. He highlighted WACL’s longstanding partnerships with professionals, architects, and construction leaders in advancing national development.
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) agenda, WACL has also invested in community development. A recent example is the electrification of the Babban Tunga community, which has brought renewed hope to families and children.
The 41st AGM Gala Night was more than an evening of elegance and entertainment—it became a symbol of appreciation, unity, and progress. From the vibrant atmosphere to the words of gratitude and shared laughter, the event underscored the enduring partnership between NIA Abuja Chapter and West African Ceramics Ltd.
